Faith Step is a faith based violence prevention cirriculum. This Sunday school or children's church cirruculm targets the prevention of violence in preschool age children. Although it targets the preschool age group it can easily be adjusted to work for elementary age groups as well. This cirriculum will be made available only through BHLM's training program. We will begin scheduling trainings mid-summer to begin in the fall of 2008. Monitor this page for more information.

Violence is a clear problem in our society today. We are constantly bombarded with questions about how to deal with it in the church setting. Children are displaying violent and unacceptable behavoir at much younger ages than ever before. The causes are obvious but the cure is more illusive. Discipline in any setting of todays society is difficult. Most programs focus on discipline. This program places focus on prevention of violent behavior. Would you rather spend your time disciplining behavior or teaching Biblical principles that help students model good behavoir? The answer is clear and this program is the answer.
